Yep. Basically, you guys want people to stick to a single thread if they support a commonly suggested idea, rather than having to chase down and lock clone threads all the time, right? Lock a few threads for the most common suggestions (mounts, new ores, etc) for people to post in, and add a forum guideline allowing you to remove duplicate threads without notice if you aren't able to already. It won't completely solve the issue, but it's a step in the right direction, and gives you a solid idea of how much support (or lack thereof) the more common ideas have.

The only problem is, if you look at the list of common suggestions they can be measured in the triple digits. You'd have to wade through multiple pages of pinned topics before making it to the original content.
Well, I do suppose a single thread for those very much over suggested additions isn't to bad of an idea, that way people with only little things to add to the suggestions can throw in their two cents without worrying about having their topic modlocked.
The problem is, if you put your suggestions in a thread which is literally named 'useless spam suggestions', no one will want to go there and view your idea, so they will continue to post as a topic.
Yeah. When I have a tiny suggestion, I don't put it on the tiny suggestions page because nobody reads that.
Basically, any such threads would be widely categorised general threads. For example, rather than having a general thread for horses, you have a thread for mounts. Rather than have a thread for crossbows or spears or some such, you have a thread for weapons. Rather than having a thread for specific types of ores, you have a thread for ore suggestions in general. Rather than a suggestion forum for specific types of blocks or creatures, you have a forum for new blocks and a forum for new creatures.
The result should be roughly half a page tops of pinned common suggestion threads. Certainly not enough to cover a full page.
