In the consumer preview there is a store. I think minecraft launcher should be a full screen app. And another idea, Mod Installer, a free store app, aswell fullscreen, like in the metro ui, where you can install mods. Aswell post mods. Special mods like aether could have advanced settings on where to install and the other mods like modloader. Thank you for reading.
I think this is useful, and another feature: UPLOADING MODS!
WINDOWS 8 CONSUMER PREVIEW IN METRO-STYLED APPS HAS A STORE!
I THINK THERE SHOULD BE A MINECRAFT LAUNCHER TO DOWNLOAD (FOR FREE) IN THE STORE AND A MOD MANAGER AND INSTALLER IN THE STORE TO INSTALL MODS AND TEXTURE PACKS!
We all wish there was a mod store and official mod support, but no, people try to use that piece of @#$% ModLoader to do stuff. It's even harder than modding the JAR itself.

I can't exact understand where you're going with this idea, but first, there already is a fullscreen feature. Just press f11. And we don't really need a mod store. Jeb is already working on something similar to the "store" which is called, Modding API. While Jeb is working on that, just use mcpatcher.

What does this have to do with Windows 8 though?
