I'm not suggesting mobs. I don't think we need any more mobs. This topic is about having special mob skins depending on where they are spawned. for example, if a pig spawns in a jungle it gets a boar skin. Or if a sheep spawns on a mountain, it gets a mountain goat skin.
here are some more...
Chicken: Spawns in jungle - JungleFowl skin.
Villager: In Desert NPC Village - Wears different clothes.
Good idea. With some texture packs, it already does this - but not according to biomes. They could possibly intergrate this into biomes, so the texture for a jungle pig could be named jungle_custom_pig1 or something like that
I support this idea, especially the better camouflage for the creepers.
If it is possible, give the creepers a render colour changer that alters a mob template based on the terrain. This as opposed to a different skin for each biome, would make winter and dungeon creepers terrifying. It would require some significant re-coding (probably), but would ultimately allow a more diverse colour scheme. This could be used for skeletons and creepers.

No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...

Creeper: Slightly Camoflaughed depending on biome. Swamp - Darker Green, Mountain - Lighter Green.
Spider: Spawns in a Jungle - Green spider.
well yes. they would be identical mobs apart from the skins. say you bred a boar with a pig, there would be a 50/50 chance on whatever you get.
yes. that sounds like a good idea.

Pretty good idea.
