Hello again! (AkA le bump)
Hows it going? Any new regarding whether we may see it implemented in a near future yet? I am still believing in this idea and must say that after a year of suggestion-browsing this is by far the best- and still the least implemented as of yet... :I
I hope it will all work out in the end and Jeb will realize that there is a vast number of players that really like this idea, whether he likes it or not. XD
Almost at page 100... Cmon @dinnebone... Get it added already!

Hmm.. awesome idea. This would be especially good for churches, you know, stained glass.
I really like how you set the page out, it wasn't plain and it made sense. You must have put a lot of effort into this and I hope this idea gets forwarded and implemented into Minecraft.

LOLing at the people who complain about colored sand!
I take it they have not used Forestry and tried to make their version of stained glass... It is a hell of a lot more involved then making colored sand.
Also colored lighting would be awesome despite the technical barriers that would hinder this.
This is quite honestly the coolest idea I have ever hear proposed for this game, love love love it, really hope it gets added (and I think (hope) that it will!)
EDIT: OMG colored water! This is just too cool, someone get Jeb on this ASAP
I don't really think keeping the sand with the dyed colours would go over well - seeing as it would be double the amount of blocks needed in an update (when we already have wool). Maybe have it where you could do like with the cauldron and dye stacks of sand, but instead of it just being dyed sand it would turn it's composition a bit so it couldn't be placed until cooked? or you have just in a crafting table add the dyes to the glass directly so you don't have to fool with dealing with sand...But I like the over-all design - you have my support.
When a beacon passes through a colored glass block the beacon could change color. The way beacons work right now, as one big object, it would have to be one solid color taking on the most common color of glass blocks above it, using the highest block to break ties. With a restructure of how beacons work, it could change each time it passes through glass to that block's color.

This is a great idea, and opens up a whole new level of options
WOW JUST WOW!EPIC!All joking aside this is a wonderful idea!I usually watch Minecraft crafting ideas on Youtube to find ideas for mods so I could post them for someone to make (The only reason I'm not doing it myself is because I don't know how) and I saw an idea for a block color-er and you could, for example, put redstone in it with some die and make it a different color to make it easier for people who make awesome redstone creations like hipixle or jv disco.

LOL HEY JEB! what?!THIS GUY WANTS TO TALK TO YOU! TELL HIM I'M BUSY!OK BUT IT'S REALY COOL!He's busy I'll call back later
Yes I did, you possibly didn't read my post how i meant to say it - I was saying instead of having dyed sand as an output of using the cauldron or adding dyes and then needing to use a furnace ...to have a different (un-placeable) block that looks just like clay balls almost but for different colours so we don't have to have a whole other set of blocks needed to add (coloured sand)....
and the second part of my post was saying instead of having the cauldrons, to just add dye to glass directly in a crafting table - that way we don't have double the placeable blocks needed to add and don't need to use a furnace.
But i do like the idea of having coloured glass
Also you probably meant I missed the part of the cauldrons and glass - but I did read that, and that is a nice touch - It just personally, I think dying a stack of glass like that at a time seems a bit too easy - maybe should be harder to do, since in real life stained glass is way more pricey.
