Actually, if you got rid of the lines, it would be 100% clear. For some reason, Minecraft cannot deal with semi-transparency. You can't have a window that is somewhat transparent (like in real life). What I did to make it cleaner was I just reduced the number of lines.
That is another obstacle to colored glass. Currently, there is no way to have a colored block that you can kinda see through.
So ice in Minecraft can't be semi transparent even though it already is?
I WANT IT IN GAME NOW YOU HERE ME JEB. lol jk I am not screaming at you or anything... not at all +1
I do want it in game however... STROBE LIGHTS! SIESURES IN MINECRAFT! YAH!!!
I loved that game. I played as a Yuke (powerful magic plus invulnerable defense ability is awesome.) Very nice drawing, BTW.
The multiplayer was a bit annoying though, so I ended up playing solo most of the time. It's a bit unfortunate that you stop receiving letters after long enough and can't send any more stuff back home, otherwise I probably would have been addicted to that game even longer. (I played to around year 35 before I decided to beat it.)
yey! a fan <3
I LOVED the multiplayer. Once you have all the 'equipment' and get used to using the GBA to play, the multiplayer is really fun. I used to play after school for hours with my friends all the time. But I agree, it could have been approached better. The multiplayer could have really taken off if it were online like Phantasy Star Online. The music was great too, so nostalgic. :3 (my favorite piece)
Wow, so they are finally coming out with the mods; I wouldn't be to surprised if the mod developers were possibly inspired from this topic, actually. Looks great! I especially love how vibrant the color is in the glass since most colored glass mods I have seen have very dull tints to the glasses. This mod, however is pretty close to how I imagined it.

The GBA directional pad makes my thumb sore after a while. It would have been better if they just used split screen with the normal controllers. They also should have kept Mog in multiplayer. Being the one holding the chalice and moving slowly not that fun (though it's bearable if you have enough players to trade off with, it was just me and my bro or sis.)
PSO is another one of my favorite games. There's a free PSO:BB server for the PC ever since SEGA took their servers down. Got my RAmar to around level 144 on it.

Sigh* good times.
oh no! I never intended for my art to make people gelatinous o_O
hehe thanks
Oh, it's for the GBA? I might want to pick it up and play it sometime.
Oh and yes, I am very gelatinous!
I can't draw very well at all... It's kinda torturous when you're an idea guy like me. You have all these ideas in your head, but no way to bring them to life!

Sorry galactic_muffin, my question got alot of related posts °_°
hehe no problem, I don't care if there's off topic conversations occasionally. I'm no leatist looking for cheap ego boosts by pointing out topic derailings and whatnot.
...unlike some people I have had the misfortune of dealing with on forums :/
hi,
I´ve recently learned modding, and my first mod ist the colored glass mod
(btw. I had the idea before I have seen this thread)
But I don´t think colored lighting is possible, in the previous version somebody had a solution: http://www.minecraft...0#entry15463112
he had colored light and i think it was in 1.2.5 (because the post was on jun the 3rd)
but he didn´t post how he had done that :`(
It would be nice if you check out the mod in my sig
Ah yes, someone posted a link to your mod here just on the last page. I have even included your mod into the Existing mods section of the OP since it is one of the only colored glass mods that uses colored sands as suggested in this topic. -_^
As I said before, I think you did a great job and I especially love how the colors in your mod are much more vibrant than other glass mods out there. It's pretty close to how I pictured it.
ooops,I haven't see they were photoshoped,so maybee it won't be released soon
This ... isn't ... a mod ...

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?

It's for Gamecube, with GBAs as controllers for multiplayer.
Mostly moved on. May check back a few times a year.

It was not one of those topic where they spent 5 minutes on it and call it a great idea.
I support!

I hope he doesn't!
I want this in my mod before it becomes vanilla
