When I was playing minecraft on a server, I was in a tree in a jungle, and a skeleton spawned up there when I got down. It essentially started sniping me. Then, I got an idea. Jungle skeletons are a skeleton variant that spawn only in jungle trees and snipe you with a crossbow.
This would add a new weapon - the crossbow - which is a much more accurate and long range weapon than a bow, which would also use arrows as ammunition. The downside to the crossbow is that it takes longer to load an arrow, therefore balancing it out.

You wouldn't find these in spawners, but they will only spawn at night in the jungle trees. They would be smaller, and the skin would be a skeleton covered in vines, moss, dirt, etc. This would make them much harder to spot. You would be able to craft a crossbow, and the rare drop from the jungle skeletons would be a crossbow.

Would it drop a crossbow?
Or you can use BTW's anvil to craft the Crossbow.
