In this topic, I suggests that stone bricks will be crafted by using a new way. You know bricks( ) right? One clay block equals one brick(block). So, Stone bricks(block) will be crafted just like brick; one stone(block) equals one stone brick. This suggestion will add a new item that is stone brick(item), not to be confused with stone brick(block).
In order to craft stone brick(item), mine a stone block you'll get a cobblestone block(Or at least use a pickaxe that has a silk touch enchantment that will drop the stone block instantly). Smelt the cobblestone and you'll get stone block. Put the stone block in your crafting table and you'll get four stone bricks(item) since require 4 bricks(item). Then, put the stone bricks(item) in a 2x2 = - Iron ingots - Stone brick(item)
Then that's it, you have a stone brick(block). Easy right? Post your opinions about my suggestion.
It kind of adds an unnecessary step. Also currently four stones make four stone bricks, so it all evens out, in case you weren't aware. ...Now if stone brick items were useful for something then it might be worth the extra step.

Enter that and you'll score one hundred thousand rupees for us both, along with a spiffy card!
It could be made so that the two kinds of bricks could serve as light and heavy dispenser ammunition or something.

But the way we have is much easier and simpler, but why not just make mossy stone bricks with vines and stone brick?
