Many would agree that one of the greatest joys in Minecraft is the freedom to explore; to search the diverse biomes that cover the landscape for cave systems, mountains, and ravines. The updates leading up to the official release of Minecraft greatly enhanced this aspect of the game. It's part of the fun experience to find an arching mountain over a river and say, 'I'm going to make my house there,' or to reach an underground ravine littered with resources that aid in your quest to find the Ender Dragon. This is the part of the game in which your goal shifts to be more about thriving than just surviving. The addition of NPC villages, abandoned mineshafts, and strongholds have made the game more fun for those who have already gotten past the survival phase of it. I think that more features to the world such as these should be added. Wouldn't it be awesome to find a sunken pirate ship in the water, and try to reach it for the gold inside? (a great use for a future waterbreathing potion, I might add)
The inclusion of more randomly generating structures would greatly enhance the Minecraft experience. Abandoned temples in the sands, pirate ships, and ruined bridges over water would make the game much more about adventure (an aspect of the game that has been growing). It would be about the extremeties in natural as well, like expansive waterfalls on incredibly high mountains, volcanoes, and unfathomably deep canyons. More far-fetched, but amazing the same, would be events that occur at random, like meteor showers leaving deep wells and who knows what behind or tsunamis that cover the land. (though it would suck to have your house destroyed D:). The possibilities are endless.
What structures would you like to randomly generate on the landscape, or what events would you like to happen in the overworld?
I would love to see little huts or a stray farm while wandering around, and if Jeb is aiming for the game to be without much AI interaction, they would be abandoned.

Jeb is actually planning on having more AI interaction, so its not so much singleplayer as it is multiplayer all the time with all these characters you can interact with, I personally would love to see a thriving city with farms of wheat and windmills surrounding it in a plain biome, like limited to 2 per world and at least like 1.5k blocks away from eachother. Another cool thing to see would be the ability to start your own town, and have villagers migrate to your town and you can send them to gather resources for you and such. Lastly I would really like to see the abandoned structures overtaken by barbarians and such to access more adventure and questing.

although generated structures are good, i would still love to have the option of turning them off because minecraft when i started was never about being "lost" or "forgotten" because that would imply there where people to miss you, it was about being completely alone and exploring the boundaries of my imagination without civilization hissing in my ear.
