In the future versions of Minecraft, you can see how the loading screen looks like. It has your current player, your current world, your current texture pack, your active mods, and a random fun fact that can be changed in the minecraft.jar. It also loads a screenshot from your Minecraft game, if there is none, it will just use the default dirt menu screen.

I would love to see this with a single Fun Fact all about the Minecraft game, the other games, Mojang, Jeb, Markus Persson (Notch), and much more!
Not a half bad idea, although it could get cluttered if you are running many mods at once. I still support this though.
