Since every level starts off with the spawn room, I think it is only reasonable to add an option to move everything inside the spawn house to a different map. Stuff like chests will retain their respective inventories.
Why? Because some people might want to move to a fresh map not dug out and exploited. Others might realize error on their part in map generation.
I for one, decided that a "flat, deep" map would be great to build on. Little did I know that farming is impossible without water, and sand doesn't proliferate in the absence of water.
Ah, I like this, when correctly implemented it could be a great feature. Maybe just the inventory though. Or... taking advantage of the ability to walk off the map, when doing so it could give you an option to move to a new location.
I can see a story mode in this...
Just think, you are traveler from another dimension, going from world to world in your spaceship/room made of mossy stone, collecting materials to further an ultimate goal.
