Lot of people know about the seasons mod, and it is cool. But why not make it default. There is already snow and rain in certain areas. But its never changing. In one area it is always snow, in others it is rain. It might get boring if you have snow, or rain all the time. (In fact it is, very boring)
So seasons would change. From hot summer to leaf fall atom, to cold icy winter, and rainy spring days with thunder. It would bring difference to the game and more fun.
I think they should have seasons, but the different Biomes would be affected by different seasons differently. Like, for example, Tundra and Pine Forest would still rain in Summer, and in Deserts it would only rain in Winter. But still, good idea.

Excuse me, but that was my comment you just read there, bub.
No, the game is good as is.
Some people might not want snow all over there house, or it to be raining for a whole season, or whatever.
Most people don't even care. A lot more people, I would think, mine than stay up above ground anyways.
i like the idea of seasons..but i think first they should get a "map" in place first..with latitude and longitude...to help set "climates" that will help determain biomes and seasons in the biome.. i mean a desert in the "south" wouldnt really snow if the temps would be to high.. and a forest can be found in areas that are warm all year... maybe ass a thermomater to the game letting you tell temps and then have an idea of seasons...
