Water Cubes hang around rivers, are a blue ball like a slime, or a magma cube they swim in water , are agressive, simple to kill and do walk on the ground and leave water marks behind, but they dissolve after 30 seconds. They drop water buckets and other ocean related items.
Lava Cubes hang out around level 20 down, walk around and are immune to lava, but turn into a cobblestone block when hit to water. They drop lava buckets, and when they walk they leave lava marks, which dissolve after 20 seconds. They are hard to kill, and maybe spit mini fireballs
Why make Lava Cubes? As a mad science geek, I do realise that Lava and magma are different things, but why do we need two different Cubes? I'm thinking Lava Cubes are just Magma Cubes that hop around in the Overowlrd and graze on Sand and poop out Glass. Heheh...

Excuse me, but that was my comment you just read there, bub.
Actually, you would be incorrect in calling them lava cubes. You see, lava is simply magma that has reached Earth's (or Minecraftia's) surface, and is virtually identical to it's subterranean counterpart magma except for the fact that some elements may have escaped as gasses. If Lava Cubes spawn underground that would contradict this scientific fact. This has been science corner with Strottinglemon.
Perhaps Magma cubes could spawn in the over world near underground Magma. (Very rare.) and lava cubes look slightly different and spawn in above ground lava pools. Lava cubes are rarer than slimes over world magma cubes and water cubes combined. The water cubes could be invisible in water too so it is hard to know where to punch. They rarely leave the water.Ok so my thought is Magma cubes spawn very rarely in underground magma in the over world. Lava cubes spawn in Over world surface lava. Water cubes are rare and they are invisible in water making it hard to fight them unless they show over the surface.
So, having two Mobs that do exactly the same thing makes the game more fun? You must have misunderstood my comment. I love the idea of Water Cubes, but my point was that we already have Magma Cubes.

How about a simple solution? Magma cubes spawn in the same conditions as slimes, except only in lava, and instead of water cubes we have jellyfish? I prefer watery jelly in the water.

Lava cubes would be in abandoned mineshafts, and if in sunlight they would burn. Water cubes would be near rivers and in them.
I also wish that we had all the creatures from mo creatures in the game, would be awes0m333

IDK something floating around in my crazy mind
