i have thought of a new mode. i don't have a name but here's basically what it is: you start out in a room with a chest. in the chest are torches, a wooden sword, and some food. also in the mode, you eat to instantly regen health, not your hunger bar. there are windows in the room you spawn in. outside is filled with netherrack. you are in a tower at the top floor. the tower is made of obsidian which, in this mode, works like bedrock. surrounding the tower is netherrack that is growing, like a vine, out from the ground around the tower. the story is that there were evil looking structures appearing all over the area. one night your charachter got curious and decided to take a look at one. he got too close and tripped onto the structure, where he was knocked unconscience. when he awoke he was in the tower. the point is to fight through rooms of mobs and every few rooms, theres a chest with better gear, food, and torches. if you make it to the end theres a fight against herobrine (i know he's not really in the vanilla game but this might stop any idiots who think he is from posting :herobrine is real!" spam). as you go down you eventually reach the nether (there are rest rooms that have windows) and at about level 1000, you make it to a place that's completely flat and made of obsidian (harder to see even with torches). when you make it to the bottom level (about 1500) you find a door that leads to the obsidian area (out of the tower). if you follow signs that have arrows. you find an industructable iron door that has a pressure plate in front so that when you enter you're trapped. then herobrine appears and if you can defeat him, you are given a special npc spawner for all of your SSP worlds (not spawnable in creative). this spawner spawns 1 bodygaurd at a time which will follow you around and protect you until he dies (then another spawns and yu can go fetch him).
Well, that's my idea. please tell me what you think!
It is an interesting but depressing reality that most politicians are just regular people with power. And most people would be as bad as politicians if only they could get some power.
That's a terrible idea. Sounds like more of an adventure map, than a gamemode. Or a story.
How do you think Mojang would pull this off? They can't just "give" special powers to all your worlds.
I mean, Herobrine? Seriously? If you want this to be done, make a mod out of it. This will never happen. Just like the rest of the suggestions in this forum.

Cigarettes are like squirrels. They're perfectly harmless until you put one in your mouth and light it on fire.
That sounds like it would make a good quest mod. According to the Wiki this is kind of what the adventure mode sounds like. Playing quests and dungeons where you cannot mine things, just fight your way through and carry out the tasks at hand.
It has an idea that's useful to just about everyone, it has proper grammar and includes formatting, and it is complete enough, includes examples/details that reinforce and explain what the idea is, how it is used, and parts of how it would be implemented.
"I'm an outsider by choice, but not truly.
It’s the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out.
I’d rather be in, in a good system. That’s where my discontent comes from:
being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin’ straight ahead.
Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."
