well about the villager AI ... what about adding the ability of growing and replanting crops to the NPC farmer , and healing to the NPC priest and maybe add NPC guards or soldiers to defend houses once the zombies brake down the door, ahh yes and the ability to place the door again once the zombies brake it .
and another idea for golems : archer golems made of whatever you want pumpkin and a dispenser . they take down mobs , not like the silly snow golems
A shame none of these are unique (well, okay, the new AI and the evil golems are, but the rest aren't).
Diamond golem is both OP and unoriginal. They are essentially iron golems that kill better and give you diamonds. Technically, the very first night you could wait out a potential zombie siege and get infinite diamonds from a diamond golem.
Gold golems are practically worthless. From his post, they only attack Ghasts (why else would he put "attack ghasts" instead of "attacks hostiles"?). Chances are, you could kill an attacking ghast by without a bow before the golem even notices the ghast, since they always fly out of range.
Obsidian golems are counterproductive and potentially laggy. Imagine 50 wolves crawling over a bunch of iron golems. Then imagine the lag.
Moyang isn't dumb. They would fix that, and I would in fact enjoy some more golems.
But the Diamond-Giving just seems like you would get infinite diamonds.
