We have zombie spawners, skeletons spawners, spiders spawners too. We have spawners that spawn blazes and even ones the spawn magma cubes. But what about creepers? I see no reason why not. It would add some fun aspects to dungeon hunting. You couldn't just run in and place torches, you'd get blown up! They could be really rare as well.

And the spawner wouldn't? I'd just make spawner blast resistance to 18,000,000 (bedrock, I believe) and make the place these are found out of obsidian. Otherwise, bad idea.

Unless you are in desperate need for gun powder, I can't see how this would be so helpful. Besides being extremely hard to neutralize, you only have one way of getting into the (supposed obsidian) dungeon (through the top), thus making it even harder to fight off the creepers that are no doubt swarming the place. If there were an opening in the side, then the cave that the dungeon was in would crawling with creepers, making it near impossible to reach the dungeon itself.
For all those saying how the creepers would just blow up their own spawner and that the cave would just be swarmed with creepers and it would be impossible to pass, alot of custom maps use Creeper Spawners and they're not difficulty to deal with. Once you've been through Super Hostile maps - you can just kill off a creeper with ease. I see no reason why this shouldn't be implimented. It allows for more efficent creeper farming and adds more danger to exploring the boring minecraft caverns.
If you've really played any of vechz maps then you should know that it is possible to blow up a 'fun box' using nothing more than a creeper explosion. Besides, my point wasn't that they are hard to kill, its that once you kill one you still have more coming after you (with a now more advanced AI). You'd be dead if you didn't have any armor, and had the misfortune of discovering one of these dungeons while mining.
