Before you reply yes I know there are other topics on improving combat this is just my own take

Yep that pretty much explains the Minecraft combat right there.
Basically what I'm suggesting is that combat needs some spicing up with some fighting techniques.
Table of contents
1. Jump slice
2. Sideways dive roll
3. Quick backwards jump
4. Upwards slice
All of this would be optional and can be changed to on or off (off by default) in the option menu.
1. The jump slice
To prefom the jump slice you would press space, w, left click (*default keys) to jump and attack an enemy or player in pvp. Unlike just a regular attack or sprint hit this attack deals a fair bit of knockback and an extra 1 1/2 hearts of damage to a mob or player. When viewing from f5 an animation would also be seen including in multiplayer and in first person it would just be the screen moving up then down a bit.
2. The sideways dive roll
To initiate this move you would need to press space, a (left) or d (right) (*defaults) to roll to the left or right for a distance of 2.5 blocks. Doing this would also freeze you in place after the dodge has finished for half a second so you can't spam it indefinetly. This would also show an effect of the screen spinning left or right during the action to add a neat effect but it would also be an option to have on or off (off by default) incase you get motion sick. While in f5 mode you would see an animation of the action and in multiplayer others would see it too.
3. Quick backwards jump
Hisssssssssssss BOOM *player dies* This tends to happen a lot when battling creepers because you aren't able to back up quick enough. Now to initiate this action you would press space, s (*defaults) and jump up 2 blocks and back 3 blocks but When you land you can't move for 1/2 a second to minimize spamming. No animation would be played with this one.
4. Upward slice
To do this you would need to press shift, space, left click (*defaults) and your player would jump up and nail a mob or player and dealing an extra 2 hearts of damge along with a lot of knockback. There is a f5 animation along with it being viewable in smp while in first person though it looks like a regular jump except it is a block higher than normal.
*The key to activate the moves are bound to the keys to move, jump, crouch ,and attack and change when the key is changed.
Na, the simplicity of the current combat is what makes it fun. And with complicated procedures to remember, it'd be more like Tekken.
I'm not saying you'd be forced to use it, there could be an option to have them on (off by deafult).
I was trying to make it simple and easy to remember too thats why you only need to press 2-3 keys.

Curse Premiumtrue or instead of another bar to upkeep the stun delay could be 1/2 a second which a creeper could only travel a block in that time anyways
