I think there should be more types of villages right now i have only seen villages in the desert and plains biomes i think there should be different villages depending on the biome they are in
Jungle village
This village is a nice tree house style village with bridges leading to different houses the bridges have fences on the sides so that you don't fall off somewhere in the village there is a ladder leading down a tree trunk to get to the ground. the houses are smaller because there isn't much space.
Extreme Hills village
This village is built at the tops of mountains there are bridges connecting the mountains on land the path will just be the normal gravel path the houses are usually on land but sometimes they might be floating next to a bridge the wheat farms are always on land
Ocean village
This village is out in the oceans the pathway is the normal gravel pathway the reason it is not falling is because there is stone holding it up underneath the houses may have the pathway leading straight to thier front door there is a chance that there will be a boat floating in the water next to a house the wheat farms will be different using the ocean as a water source
Mushroom village
These villages are in the mushroom biome they have special mushroom houses and have special mushroom villagers they do still have wheat farms because there are mushrooms everywhere
Cave village
These villages are deep underground in caves the houses do not have windows and some of them are just simply carved into the wall of a cave these villages have lots of torches everywhere and the farms are outlined with them somewhere the village has a ladder leading to a small shack on the surface
Forest or Taiga village
these villages have houses that are made out of live trees the wheat farms are usually smaller because of the lack of space
Snow village
these villages are in the snowy biomes with houses that are igloos the wheat farms are greenhouses and sometimes the houses have fireplaces
Floating village
These villages are extremly rare and hard to get to these villages are floating above cloud level these villages are most likely to be floating above the extreme hills but can be in other biomes the paths are made of obsidian and the streetlamps ame made of gold blocks instead of woll about 1 out of 10 of these villages will have an enchantment shop in the center of the village
Atlantis city
I think this is too much my friend told me this idea but i think it has too much but i will but it anyways this village is deep underwater in a large glass dome my friend did not say much about it but he said in every chest there would be diamonds i think this is allot but i just felt like adding it to this list
What do you think of these villages the plains and desert will have the normal village i hope this is part of minecraft some time
The floating villages. They wouldn't be above the highest mountains or above the clouds, which sort of ruins it.
No. That's completely doable now that the height limit has been raised. It's now possible to have blocks at altitudes well above the cloud level. Not sure about the "highest mountains"...assuming Jeb adds taller mountains to the terrain generation, however, above the clouds can definitely be done with the new map height.
Because villagers still don't serve a purpose yet, I can't see why they need to be more apparent throughout the various biomes. In fact, I think its better that they be as rare as they are now so that it gives the player something to look forward to finding. Sort of like finding a diamond (which could actually be a close relation because some village blacksmith shops actually contain diamond). I go farther to say that this might cluster up the area in which they player might want to build in. Maybe once the AI has been improved upon you can have villagers journey with you and have them set up a village where you allow them to. This way you can have the satisfaction of multi-biome villages and clean building area, where you want it.
Honestly, my idea of different villages is very different. I think of mining villages, industrial villages, etc. which would have their own respective building styles and materials.

the villages would still be rare it is not like they would be in every single biome every time you find one you are basically saying that to you it seems like every time you go to the plains you find a village but they would still be rare

Oh yeah? Which parts...because, you know, I don't see anything that couldn't be done. Maybe things that shouldn't be done, but nothing impossible.
The floating villages. They wouldn't be above the highest mountains or above the clouds, which sort of ruins it.
Why? The hight is SOOO MUCH TALLER. And you can build ABOVE the clouds...
So, why not?
