I think there should be Wasteland mode in Minecraft. You will be in a wasteland with abandoned villages with cobwebs around to simulate they're dirty. Plus, there is no water and only dead bushes spawn there. You will start in a sunken ship and with piles of chests and crates since Steve Co. ship was sunk near a wasteland island. Later, there will be some treasury like gold ingots and diamonds with some tools that you used in the past.
Plus, I would recommend that some mobs will spawn there like the sand cat and the wastewolf. They turn into regular cats and wolves when tamed using fish and bones. There is also a Boneworm which is related to the Skeleton family. It shoots out bone arrows for the first time and then shoots fire and uses stolen arrows as a weapon, too, from skeletons.
The Nether and The End will be unable to be accessed when using portals there. There is also Yellow-eyed Endermen which teleports when you look at it. It is tricky to kill. There will be also sandbird, a type of chicken who has waste and sand on it instead of feathers. It drops still raw chicken or in some rare cases rotten raw chicken. Wastepigs and Cactmoos are also spawning. They drop some rare ingredients but Cactmoos are also responsible for dropping cacti.
