Usefullness of Carpets:
1.More personal homes
2.can actually build a carpet on a second floor without it being on the ceiling of the first.
3. Medieval Castles (Because we all love castles)
So i imagined the carpets being the same crafting recipe as slabs execept with wool. and the carpets being half the height of snow.
And yes i know that this suggestion may have come up before but i just wanted to bring it up again because i think its a really good idea.
I was about to suggest the same thing then I searched and found this topic.
I absolutely agree. It allows for less clunky looking carpet than solid wool blocks and has a low profile, like snow. Also, you don't have to farm ridiculous amounts of wool due to extra efficiency.
I know this might be a sensitive topic to the purists, as with any 'non cube' addition. But think about this: Do you hold it against Lego that they have an amazingly huge range of shapes and types of blocks? In my opinion it is still just as fun; More blocks = more possibilities for creativity!
I think it'd be easier to have it be the same height as snow so that you didn't have to use a new model.
Making it totally flat might work too or possibly editing the pressure plate idea?

"Shall I craft you a ladder to help you off that high horse now?"
