1. Adobe If you smelt a clay block, you get Adobe. Adobe is a yellow-tan recolor of clay used as a building material. It has the same mining speed, tool, sound and blast resistance of sandstone.
2. Cementing If you right click two adjacent blocks with clay balls, they will have twice the mining speed and blast resistance.
3. Potted Plants Two new decorative blocks, potted cactus and potted sapling. Potted cactus is bricks (item, not block) in a "bucket" shape with sand in the center and a cactus in the center top. Potted sapling is the same replacing sand with dirt and cactus with sapling.
I like adobe and potted plants. The cement doesn't make sense, just use more blast resistant walls(also, clay isn't that blast resistant). I would really like adobe blocks, sandstone doesn't look good in fancy desert buildings, a smooth, tanner version would be perfect.
For the pots, they should be crafting without the plant, and have to place the plant on top of it. Cactus would treat the pot as sand, saplings and flowers would treat it as grass. Sugar cane would treat it like dirt and not need water.
Cementing blocks seems OP, especially in SMP. Imagine coming home one day to find a cemented obsidian penis in your house, with a cemented obsidian swastika drawn on the roof. You'd be pissed, because it would take forever to break all the obsidian because it has been cemented which doubles the time it takes to break the block.

I really like the idea of a potted plant. It is perfect for making homes look better, and will encourage me to actually use my bricks instead of hoarding them.

Thank you for feedback! :3
Sure, more building blocks are always nice. And it'd probably look good for desert buildings.
2. Cementing
This one doesn't really do anything for me personally, but I bet others would like it.
3. Potted Plants
Yes. Please.
Maybe also a recipe for potted flowers. And, heck, that one fern-looking tall grass would be a nice decoration too...
Sure, why not.
2. Cementing
No. Nobody will use it, and if they do it'll either be by accident or just because they have too many balls(Intended)
3. Potted Plants
I like the idea, but there's entire threads dedicated to potted plants.
I support BETTER DRAGONS!

Also, potted plants can't grow.
