So lately my MineCraft hasn't been working to allow me to play Online due to some troubleshooting I've done concluding in a Java JRE issue?
Anyways, it's been this way for quite a while now but it's given me time off the server to experience Single Player on my own; trying things I've never tried before.
I was very pleased to finally see some smarter AI in the mobs (Villagers mainly) in the most recent Update.
And I think it'd be amazing to see the Villagers get even smarter, by collecting resources on their own, building up the village on their own, farming to keep their village alive, ect ect.
You know, the real stuff!
I'm sure this has been suggested before, yes; but I don't think all these ideas have been considered before (All in one Thread, atleast).
I read on a Wiki somewhere (Wiki - Reliable, huh?) that the future plans for any Villager/Village improvements is Player - NPC interaction; thus allowing us to interact trades with the Villager, ect.
That's all fine and dandy, but I think it'd be best to get the Villages becoming true Villages rather than making a simple Mod/Plug-in NPC - Player trading system a top priority over the above.
Anyways yeah,
It'd be nice to see a real village operate.
I'll probly' log back in these Forums in another few months if it's still not added by then to re-suggest.
Feedback is of course always welcome provided it's light-shedding.
Merry Tuesday to you too!
Villager improving would be great, but I really think that Jeb (Or mojang, Jeb because he is kinda directing them under his influence) is focusing too much on tiny aspects of the game, and improving them, which is good, but he should really look at the big picture more (For example, the MASSIVE lag problem Minecraft has) I think the next update should be small improvements on big things (Villagers included) Mostly since Mojang has focused on cramming as much as possible into one update lately.
Thank you.
- I haven't experienced any lag issues recently; but that goes without saying my laptop is only one year old & I keep it extremely clean/organized.
I do experience a performance issue client related however which I'm about to post in the Support section; hopefully that can be cleared up along-with the "Lag issue".
Burning zombies and skellies will often just run towards water for a few moments, stop, then resume and possibly kill themselves. It must be related to their "wander" pattern (move randomly, stop, move again, stop, etc...) since sometimes a zombie will take ages to notice water/shade and other times they will dash right to it immediately.

Did something happen to you in your childhood to give you this unreasonable fear of rutabaga?
Not just villagers, but team mob strategies. They should gather then attack in large numbers with a few creepers that sneak around behind the players while the rest charge from the front.
Also, it would be cool if mobs occasionally spawned in little armies (10 skeletons spawn next to each other).

The zombie/skelly AI annoys me a bit, though.

hi
I like that.
Also, it would be cool if mobs occasionally spawned in little armies (10 skeletons spawn next to each other).
Support shields replacing parrying here! (Click it)
Would be cool but definitely not frequently.
Hopefully it's all implemented.
