I've been living in this smallish NPC village for a little less than a day and this is what it looks like.
Now I know what it feels like to live in China!

But in all seriousness villagers do need some sort of population control. Zombie Sieges aren't cutting it, currently. (Yes, I'm not on peaceful) Perhaps a limit of two villagers per house in the area or something. Just make them stop multiplying!
I thought the village population was controlled by the ammount and size of house.
This must be a bug becuase, I KNOW the reproduction of villagers work that way.

Correct. How many houses are there in the village? And have you built any extras?

I only made a house for myself (with an iron door, so I don't think it registers as a house for them).
