I was thinking about the many things of minecraft, the unused blocks... Mystery places and strange things. Most of us Want to know the purposes of these places. Here is where my idea begins.
Egyptian Tombs- These Temples are found rarely in the desert, and spawn underneath a desert well. The temple is made of sandstone and gold blocks. If you happen to find a temple, you must destroy the well, and you will find a small opening and you can find a Tomb. The tombs do not include other realm, such as the Nether or the End. It will feature treasures in many chests scattered along the tomb. There are many doors, and if you accidentally hit any sand block, many of the sand will collapse on you, making this stronghold difficult. If you manage to find the underground Sphinx, you will find chests piled by its feet. However, there are obstacles. Silverfish will spawn in the sphinx and attack you. There are skeletons as well, that spawn in holes in the sand. The rewards can be-
Golden Apple
Diamond items
Iron items
Bow and full arrow ammo
Or, a Diamond Block.
That is not all of my ideas.
There could be an underwater-type stronghold. It could look like Atlantis. Tons of buildings collapsed, many statues collapsed, and are growing seaweed(a new block idea) around the ruins. There is an colosseum-arena building, and there is a room in the inside of the arena. You can swim in the room in the back wall, and there is a room with waterfalls bursting from the roof and water dripping from the cealing. You can go in there, and in a chest in the center of two waterfalls, is the Sword of Triton. It looks like a spear, with seaweed wrapped around it. It has more uses than Diamond Swords, and are slightly stronger than Diamond swords. However, Silverfish are in here and will attack you. It could be called, "Sunken Ruins."
Crying Obsidian Shrine-these spawn underground. If you find one, you are extremely lucky. The shrine is a large castle like structure made of Crying Obsisian(you can't mine it) and there are crying Obsisian arches everywhere around, above, and underneath the Shrine. However, you must build your way a bridge to the Shrine(because of you mine down you will hit Crying Obsidian). Soon, if you get in, you will see a giant hand made with crying obsidian inside the Shrine. There are waterfalls running from the hand. You must swim up the waterfalls to get to the Shrine Center. (you willbe attacked by silverfish and skeletons and spiders and what-not). If you want the biggest prize of all,(if you have been to the Sunken Ruins) you must throw your Sword of Triton into a small hole inside the Obsisian Hand. Suddenly, if you do, the arches from the outside of the temple come together and reduce itself where the arches meet, into one small Obsisian Block. The block then gets reduced so you may take the Obsisian Block and take it back to wherever your home is(just a suggestion. Enderman can't steal them, btw.)
I will make more ideas, but I need to do homework (darn you homework )
African Plains
There are new grass blocks that are shorter and yellow around the Plains, and there are African Trees, made of African Branches.
There are three mobs in African Plains, such as-
Hippo
Giraffe
Elephants
Elephants can be farmed for Ivory Tusks, which, you can create a Ivory Horn, in a simple arrangement of two Ivory Tusks, with a tusk above left in the crafting corner.
The Ivory Horns emitt a large, low sound that can scare off enemies, such as-
Skeletons
Spiders
Creepers
Enderman
It will scare off some other mobs-
You will get nothing for hurting a giraffe, however.
Giraffes are 10 blocks high, and eat African leaves off the African trees.
Hippos swim in the water all the time, and will attack IF you are in a boat.
Hippos take away 2 hearts per bite.
African trees are made obliquely, not straight, with African Branches. African Branches blocks stretch from the top and form African Leaves on top. Vines stretch from the African Leaves.
(Wolves
Giraffes
Chicken do also get affected by the Ivory Horns)

I understand. In the Arena, there is a room that is dry. Silverfish will die in the water if you swim out, though
