Every once in a while, in the new survival, you will hear a crack of thunder, then a fog will slowly fade in (unless your fog is already on). You will run to your home, knowing what comes next. The rain will begin to pour down in heavy drops you can hear splashing in puddles, plopping in the mud, and thwacking against the stone. By your cozy fire, you will laugh with glee as the homeless players slowly die in the torrential downpour.
I would like to see random water blocks spawn if it's raining. That way small holes can fill and create puddles of sorts. Players would also have to build drains to ensure that rain doesn't flood a basement floor or tunnel.
Weather in survival would be sick. It would add to the survival part. Rain shouldn't be deadly, but what of a blizzard? Freezing temperatures can be very deadly.

Somewhat agreed. The effect storms should probably gravitate to something more passive than something like leaving big puddles everywhere.
What I was personally thinking was wind that pushes you around.
