The Burnt forest is a forest that is burned down by all the fire and lava in the Nether. These forests are a biome in the Nether.
What can you see there?
There is nothing that can be seen other than Burnt Wood and a ground full of Soul Sand and a few Netherrack
What is Burnt Wood?
It is a block that looks like wood, however it is as dark as charcoal. When crafted, it will give 3 charcoal. Burnt Wood is non-renewable. When set on fire, the block lasts thrice as long as charcoal used in furnaces. It has a lower blast resistance than normal wood and Ghasts can destroy them.
How does the biome generate?
The burnt wood generates the same manner as trees in the Overworld, but without the leaves. The ground is almost all Soul Sand, especially where the dead trees are. There are a lot of hills in this area.
