I posted some ideas a mod said no wishlists on my Topic whatever that is so why not add a wishlist section to the forums for more detailed or longer list of suggestions?
No that would be the opposite of wasteful since a wishlist would have all your ideas on one topic instead then each idea having their on topic so taking up a lot of space on the forums.
No that would be the opposite of wasteful since a wishlist would have all your ideas on one tropic instead then each idea having their on tropic so taking up a lot of space on the forums.
A wishlist is an ignorant and selfishly trite display of one's superior "intelligence and creativity".
I have excellent ideas on how to run an economy; but I do not have the credibility nor do I have the merit for people to just yuppie.
I expect no different from you.
Let me put it like this, "It is ****ING INSULTING that you think you are better than anyone else by ignoring the rules that we all follow so that you can summarize what someone-else took hours to creatively detail and elaborate on as a once-forgotten footnote on your personal list of oversuggested, poorly intentioned, illegible, and illogical thoughts."
Most lists are:
1) Food
2) Guns
3) Nukes
4) ...
That's it. Simple lists. They tell the reader jack **** and you swear that you're goddamn Edgar Allan Poe.
It is insulting, I personally feel that people that make wishlists should have a 1 strike ban. You make a wishlist, you get a strike, you screw up again, you get banned.
It's not that hard to read the rules at the top of the list. It's 5 minutes of your time, you know, 30x as long as it took you to write your forgettable list of ********?
I would recommend that you take another look at wishlists, how they negatively affect the forum, atmosphere, create more work for admins, and create more general obfuscation.
I'll be indepth here:
Take a look at another look; imagine this as the forum:
--> Iron Golem Suggestion
--> Gun Suggestion
--> Nerf Creepers
--> ...
If you look at the title, you can clearly see what the suggestions are asking about. If more detail is needed, it will be provided inside.
Take a look at what would happen if your suggestion was allowed:
--> Yoshi9048's suggestion list
--> My Wishlist
--> Another wishlist
--> Stuff I want to see next week
--> Here's what should be removed
At a glance, can you tell what each topic is asking about? No! You have to open each suggestion and read the contents and HOPE that there was something to help you understand WTF the author was stating. Often-times, NO.

Again, there are reasons to this.
No.
It sound like you are saying my suggestions much be small and simple, like I can't ask for shops to be made in villages and a currency to be produce but instead I much ask for a new block type or more food.

I never said that, you shouldn't think that.

Big note: Do not strawman me. If I didn't say something, do not assume I meant it. I say what I say and I mean what I mean. Do not overinterpret, do not misjudge. I am thorough on purpose. It is rare that I leave anything out of my statement; if I didn't say it, do not assume I did. I will catch it and call ******** fast.
I don't care how small and simple, large or complicated your suggestions are getting. If you have more than 1 suggestion per topic, it's a wishlist unless there is one strong, present, overarching theme and you stress it well before you enter the list.
As an example: A new biome is incomplete unless it has features, mobs, unique characteristics, etc. If someone created a "Jurassic theme" we would expect to see great detail going into the oversized trees and ferns, dinosaurs, etc. With a great amount of detail per each. We expect that because you set us up for that; are you suggesting a pterodactyl? No, you're suggesting a jurassic theme and we expect to see raptors, pterodactyls, iguanadon, huge trees to come with it. It would not be a wishlist due to that.
If your suggestion is worth anything at all, it demands its own thread.
Let your suggestion be measured by its own merit instead of demolished by your other ideas.
One of my most popular suggestion is gravity wells; it is an incredibly indepth look at the mechanics and details of a new block I introduced.
You don't need that much detail, but if you're going to add an object, at make it deserving of it's own thread
Sigh. Look basically the mods don't want the section to be overrun with "I WANT THIS IN MINECRAFT" ****. That's basically how you worded your topic.
They want detailed posts on how it would fit into Minecraft, why it would fit, stuff like that ONE AT A TIME. Also, the things you suggested: I've seen most of them multiple times. Use the search bar and add to the existing topic before posting it.
