I am aware that there are other threads with suggestions like this, but I didn't want my idea lost under the original thread. I like many ideas in the "new structures" thread, but here's a few different ideas.
Improved villages
Continued along the traditinal hype. :smile.gif:
New Villages
Why not add some new village types? The one we have is great, but frustratingly hard to locate more othen than not. As I've seen before, swamps could have small stilt huts, or perhaps a treetop village in a jungle. A mountain side village might include goats too...
Biome specific structures
Again, refer back to the new structures thread, but I was also thinking about useful and rare structures like mills that would include a new block to create flour or similar. Also, something like a mountain top temple where a wise old shao lin monk can trade large volumes of diamonds and resources for experience, or bonuses like better combat effectiveness, or experience gathering boost.
Overworld structures
As opposed to underworld structures. Yes, I know minecraft is about mining, but most things undercground are very difficult to locate without digging for hours, and who in their right mind builds a mine without an entrance above ground?
Geology
Really. Big. Mountains. Huge mountains that take advantage of the new heightlimit, dominate the landscape, have snow on top, Yeti, Bigfoot, mountian side villages, underground magic shrines, and really big mountains. Actually more of a biome than a structure...
Anyway, some ideas. I'm interested in hearing the discussion on this and other naturally generated things. I know there are others in the same line of thinking, and I acknowledge those authors - if there's any double ups, I am not trying to steal anyone's ideas. Great minds just think the same. :wink.gif:
did you "steal" the 2 ideas about structures from a poll on the front page -.- 'cause they are VERY similar...
I would say "inspired by". I made no attempt to claim all ideas as completely original, but yes, the poll gave me some ideas. I read through the linked post, and thought of some things to add to it, and some that we're a little different.

What would you add?
