Ok so I was browsing r/minecraft when I stumbled across a topic that was directed to a site called minefold.com. This site is sort of a dumb way for people to waste money on playing minecraft, but what got my attention was the explore section which allows you to a actually see the minecraft server like its on a Google Maps system. This has blown my mind and made me think that MineCraft should have this. I understand that the only reason they can do that is because those servers are linked to their website, but if minecraft made a way to upload maps to a area of their site or even a completely different site it would be possible for people to see someone's entire server before getting on it. This would really be amazing for people to build massive projects and instead of having to show people it by wandering around they could just upload it and see it in its full glory. Check out the explore section of minefold.com and you'll realise how awesome it looks when seeing someone's mc server from a birds eye view.
Thank you for the support. Does anyone think I should get a poll on this topic for "Yes" or "No"?
I mean there's a lot to gain from this. Not just for other people, but for someone building the project ass well. Say you wanted to build the classic yet popular sky castle of intense magnitude, we've all made one of these in our minecraft life or attempt to make one at least lol. When you're finished it doesn't hold up to it's glory because from the bottom it just looks like a floating island and unless you're gonna allow everyone else a fly mod they wont see much of the top or outside and then you have to let everyone wander around it if you want to show it off. If we had a MineCraft Maps system like stated in my previous post you could see the entire thing without even getting the server. Not to mention it's awesome when you see what you build then maybe your friend has his own massive project going on a little ways away from you. This system wouldn't just appeal to one group of minecraft players either. It's a way to share adventure maps, a way for survival junkies to keep track of where their house might be if they get lost, and it also allows people who just like to build massive towns etc. and show it off without taking a billion pictures and uploading them to a site. All anyone would have to do is put their server onto a site with the seed code I'd assume then presto, entire mc server and any area that's been explored right there to zoom in and out of and scroll across like you're in MineCrafts first outer-space satellite. I really hope we can get this topic more popular. I'd really love to see this happen.
So silverboyp's link to the Minetographer program does allow you to share the rendered MineCraft map, but the process to do it seems kind of long. You have to upload the HTML file into your webspace which is painstakingly confusing for someone unfamiliar with complex server hosting and java basic understanding. Though my topic is dead because the program does already exist. I think that someone should take the Minetographer viewing system and simplify it. Instead of the rendering program to go with it, it should be a uploading system that allows others to view their own or others uploaded maps, because not only is the above stated a problem the rendering system and updating system is painstakingly slow. Large maps can take up to 2 hours to update or render, if someone can simplify it that would be amazing.

Thank you though silverboyp for your suggestion.
