Yeah, and with the solar systems and planets and stuff Minecraft should get spaec ships and lazer guns pew pew and get rid of mining and crafting and all that crap and replace it with a flying space fighting sci fi game! YEAH! Why not rename it EVE Online or something better like that? Totes!
2.Undersea Cities (Ruins? Yes. Actual underwater cities, no.)
3.Temples (We do need more structures. They'd have to have something that sets them apart from Strongholds though.)
4.Creeper Biome (No)
5.Volcanoes (We definitely need a volcano biome.)
6.Meteorites (Only if they're very rare, but I'd rather not have them.)
7.Solar Systems (No)
8.Planets (No)
9.Aliens (No)
10.Ghosts (Yes. They need to be added to Abandoned Mineshafts, but are an extremely rare spawn and act as I suggested in the Haunted Mineshafts thread.)
11.Vampires (Meh, maybe not.)
12.Werewolves (Mo Creatures Wereolves need to be imported into Vanilla Minecraft.)
13.Devils - What about Imps? We could use a new non-structure limited mob. (Since blazes usually or always spawn from spawners in Nether Fortresses, that leaves us with three, not four. Imps would be cool.)
14.Mermaids - We do need something in the Ocean biome, but Sharks, Fishys, and Dolphins would be more fitting. I know Notch didn't want that or something, but Mo Creatures shows how well they could fit into the game.
More suggestions to come soon! (Try to flesh them out a little more than just saying they need to be added.)
Ideas for imps. They'd be semi-hostile, meaning they don't constantly attack you, just like my idea for ghosts. Imps like to pester you with their stone swords. They don't do a whole lot of damage and they're usually fairly cowardly. (Do enough damage and they'll bolt.) They don't take a whole lot of damage either. (8 hearts or a little more health than spiders) The premise is they're more of an annoyance or pestering mob than a real threat, except in groups. Actually, they uncommonly spawn in groups.
There could also be a stronger version of imps or another mob in the Nether that acts like a Mo Creatures Ogre, but can't smash as many types of blocks as Ogres can. These mobs technically wouldn't be hostile, but rather, territorial. If you get too close, they might start attacking, but they have a chance of stopping once you get out of their sight, unlike the Ogres.
"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.
