The Iron golems should be alot more rare like 1-2 per village depending on size, but it would be nice if villagers could defend themselfs.
Guard villagers: There will be quite a few in a village and there will be 1 warrior for every house and 3 for every keep,
they will carry leather and iron weapons/armor and will drop damaged versions of what they had.
Merchant Villagers: They will carry alot of rare-ish items when killed and will trade stuff with you, just right click the villager and an interface will appear with your inventory and the villagers inventory, if you kill the villager however he'll drop the least rare items he owned, you can trade diamonds for lots of gold or iron etc and obsidian for other blocks.
King: A rare villager that only spawns in bigger villages, he carrys tools varying from iron to diamond and is very hard to kill, he also has 6 guards protecting him with gold weapons and if you kill him you get diamonds or other extremely rare items, he also gets his own castle.
Archer villagers: They only spawn in villages with a castle, an archery spawns as well, these villagers will attack mobs from a range and will hide on top of the castle at night time, if you kill an archer he drops arrows and possibly a bow.
Hunters: Villagers that move far around there village and kills all hostile mobs, he retreats to the village however when the sun goes down, he is armed with a bow, arrows a sword and a full suit of iron.
I think that if miner villagers were added, they should send supplies to the blacksmith to be crafted,
and maybe an alchemist villager who would create potions but would use a cauldron to stop people
from getting the brewing stands too easily. The blacksmith would send some iron to the alchemist and
the alchemist over time would build an iron golem to defend the city. A mason villager or just a villager
to build walls would also help.
