Hello fellow Minecrafters, I would like to share with you some suggestions that I have for NPC villages in the 1.2 patch. First off, I think that There should be an additional type of villager: The warrior, an armed, possibly armor-clad testificate. This villager would attack hostile mobs, and fight back if attacked by the player, or if any villagers from the same village would attack. I think that this would be a marvelous small addition to the vanilla game that would mae the new zombie attacks on the villages a lot more interesting.
Secondly, I think that there should be multiple village types (ex. Military, Farming, Fishing, Hunting, Merchant, etc.), that will generate randomly and biome compliantly if applicable.
Finally, I think that when damaged by the player or a mob, villagers should run away in a similar way to pigs and cows. I think
that this would be a small piece of the game that could make sacking villages a lot more fun.
That is all, and thank you for taking the time to read my post. :smile.gif:
Thank you, the fishing village was a reference to an old story my dad told me about scotland, where a man was telling him about a nearby fishing village, but pronounced it "Fashion Village"
