Hello, I have some NPC Villager suggestions. One is that NPC Villagers will get angry/hostile for a set amount of time when you do certain things. These may include:
-Attacking/killing Villagers (5 min of rage)
-Raiding chests in village (2 min of rage)
-Destroying doors (1 min of rage)
-Attacking/killing Young Villager (10 min of rage)
So those are some ideas. All of these apply to zombies, so a Villager may become hostile toward the zombie attacking the building if that zombie were to break down the door. Villagers might use weapons, such as swords or similar to defend themselves. I also think Quests from the Villagers/Young Villagers would be great. Heres a list of possible Quests:
-Farmer: Quests for the farmer could be perhaps giving the Farmer wheat, melon, etc.
-Young Farmer: Quests for the Young Farmer could be to give them a slimeball/other toy-like object.
-Librarian: Librarian Quests could perhaps be to give them books.
-Young Librarian: For the Young Librarian, paper would be the required item in a Quest.
-Priest: I haven't actually come up with anything for the Priest yet, If you think of any let my know below.
-Young Priest: Same as above.
-Blacksmith: The Blacksmith could perhaps ask for ore, iron, etc.
-Young Blacksmith: Not 100% sure on this one, I'd say maybe a stick or something?
-Butcher: Quests could be for porkchop, chicken, beef.
-Young Butcher: Young Butchers could have similar quests to Butchers, but perhaps in less quantity?
Yeah, thats just a few Quest ideas. Or it could be that Young Villagers want more toy-like objects,(slimeball, stick, paper, and bucket) Where the Villagers want more specialized things as seen above. And Quests may have certain difficulty levels depending on if you've done that Quest before, so if a Young Farmer asked you for a slime ball, and you gave them one, and a few days later they asked you for that object again, they might ask for five instead of one, and so on. Villagers might have an icon over their heads showing what item they want, and in what quantity. After you give them this item(by pressing Q) they would have another symbol over their heads, to symbolize Quest completness. Then they would drop a reward, which could be anything from a gold ingot to wooden planks. Villagers might give out Quests every few days, perhaps 1 in 7. I think those are most of the ideas I have right now, but if you have any comments/critisisim/ideas, then post it below.
Seems like an awesome set of idea's but.. Mojang would probably never do this. Or this would just be too much work. It is possible that someone could mod this to.
