Hello everyone. I've been playing Minecraft a lot again recently and building mega projects with it in creative, but when i look at what blocks I can use, I can always find one I want want that would be perfect for a certain place for it, and if there is something similar, its not always that great looking. So here are my ideas that I believe Minecraft NEEDS.
- Thicker looking colored blocks would be great, and what I mean by "thicker looking" is for the block not to have a wool texture to it, more around the same texture as the old iron block look. The colored wool can look perfect depending on what you build with it, but adding these blocks can make some wall art pop, and add more color to buildings in the game, instead of just, stone, wood, clay, or colored wool.
- Colored light. This would be cool because it can make some building really stand out in the dark and give it kind of a mood setting in some buildings.
- Colored glass. This would be a really cool addition because you can make things such as churches look really nice.
- Lighter colored stone. I ran into this problem the other day trying to build a building and i tried using stone brick, It would have looked really cool but it was too dark for what i wanted so i had to go with stone slabs, annnd basically, I'm removing it today. didn't look nice. But what I'm asking is to add like a polish feature to the game to make stone blocks brighter, or a different feature to also make the go darker if the builder wants.
And that's it. I think Mojang should add these features because, really, it creates a wider range of things to be built in minecraft.
Well, the darker stone blocks thing could be fixed with a texture pack, even if you don't edit the other textures. Although the colored blocks could go well together. The other stuff, yes, would be nice to have.
Mods. Stained glass mod. Texture packs. These will solve your problems. HD texture packs will also help, for in MC patcher, there is custom colors. Google before posting.
why dont you make a texture pack for your own preferences?
Because I thought of all these while building on my server, some people don't use texture packs, and a lot of the time
I want to use a huge variety of blocks so I'd rather have more block then replace the ones I'm going to also use.

If I helped you out, or made you laugh feel free to hit that green button!
