So we are all aware of the music disks that play various songs in Minecraft, but in my opinion it's not enough, that's why I'm suggesting that there be custom music disks.
Basically, when you go to put the music disk in a Jukebox, a window would pop up, through this window you would go through your files and pick out the song that you want it to play. Now you have your custom music disk, playing the song you want it to. And you can have as many of them as you want, they would work in a similar way that the maps do. The first one made would be Custom Music Disk 1 (or 0, whichever), and then Custom Music Disk 2, and so on.

I've done this. You can only easily do it with 'cat' and '13'.
Open the minecraft folder(Start>Run, type in "%appdata%" and open the .minecraft folder) open Resources, open the folder containing "cat.ogg" and "13.ogg" and replace them with your song, but name it either 13 or cat, and cut the old one(so you can put it back)

Not all, but most.
I can't say he is, though.
:/
its a suggestion, im trying to help you... people are so pathetic on the internet lately.
Help me how? I already know that there is a way to do this, I'm just suggesting an easier and more user friendly way (also what you said wasn't really a suggestion at all).

explain to me how that wasn't a suggestion.
definition of suggestion: An idea or plan put forward for consideration
i clearly put a idea forward on how you can do this but without actually adding a mod to the game.
also i didn't now i was a mind reader. how was i supposed to know that you already new about this?
Changing something in the game is known as modding, whether you have to download it or not. And you couldn't have known, and I don't blame you for saying what you said, anyways, don't get so upset over nothing. I'm suggesting a way that would be easy for everyone, it doesn't matter if there is already a way to do this if half the people who own Minecraft don't even know how to.

It's as simple as editing a file name. If they can install a mod, I'm pretty sure they can change a file name.
I like this idea, but I'm afraid griefers will find the most offensive sound files ever and make music discs out of them, then play the disc over and over near the spawn point.

The point of this suggestion. What you are pointing out is known as modding.

What do you mean? basically the same way it would in single player.

If anyone wants to port/remake this, feel free to do that! Or don't. It's up to you, really.
