Say your typing a Ip here's the Ip:(this is a random one) 111.111.111:11111 And you type 112.111.1:11111 then you realize the mistake so you have to delete all that, and rewrite it. why can't we just click it the and change the other mistakes?
Unless you're shoving your face into your keyboard, I highly doubt someone would accidentally put 112.111.1:11111 instead of 111.111.1:11111
Mostly because you can copy-paste the IP address directly, so there's not really a need to memorize the IP and type it out all the time.
The idea is good in SMP chat where you're typing everything out letter by letter, but what you stated shouldn't really happen that often. And if it does, being in the same genus as that person makes me embarrassed to call myself "Homo"
You should stop griping about the little things that bother you and be thankful that Notch was even born and that the idea of Minecraft even entered his mind.

You need to learn gratefulness and respect.
Sounds almost like you're trolling, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
"stop griping about the little things"
Yes, don't complain about how if you log out of your world and log back in, the redstone power has reset. Don't complain about the fact that animals can get out of fenced enclosures when logging out and in. Forget about how animals seem to bunch up in corners rather than spread apart when babies are present.
"be thankful that Notch was even born and that the idea of Minecraft even entered his mind."
Minus the brown-nosing, it's likely someone would/already did come up with an idea such as this. The difference is the execution, where Notch made it in a classic and original form.
"You need to learn gratefulness and respect."
They didn't disrespect anyone, they just pointed out a simple problem that occurs from time to time. It would take no more than a few moments of coding to allow such a maneuver, I imagine, which would help with in-game chat as well! And signs! Already there are plenty of areas this could come into use.
The first thing I learned on the computer was to copy-paste. CTRL+C, CTRL+V. If this is hard for people...dammit, why is it illegal to aim a large, military-grade, laser-equipped satellite at the earth?
As for "4 yaer olds", you're exaggeration the age people are while on Minecraft. Diamonds spontaneously raining from the real world sky is more likely than a four-year-old trying to go on a server.

Pointing out little things in life make Jebs life easier,so he needs less testing to do by himself.

Really? I learned that from watching randfom Minecraft videos,like 3 months ago,and i'm 12.
111.12 *SCREECH, time to use my friendly backspace again, man I'm glad I watch what I'm doing and correct myself mid-operation, I'd totally look like a tool if I wrote the entire thing out to have to delete back to the error again.*
111.111.131 *OOPS, How did that 3 get in there, I'm glad I stop and think about what I'm doing, I'd hate to have someone think me a dumbass for hopping on the forum and complaining about my own failings, backspace, backspace*
Does it really matter?

I highly doubt that. I severely doubt you had no idea how to copy and paste text until you were twelve, unless you started playing at age 12 as well.

Seriously, You know what helps more than:
112.111.111.111:1111 where it should've been 111.111.111.111:111?
112. *Oh ****... typo, BACK-EFFING-SPACEx2, GENTLEMEN, CONTINUE*

111.111.111.111:1111
There we go, much less headache.
