We have shears, and we can legitimately obtain Tall Grass with it.
Perhaps we can right click sheeps with this grass item to make them grow back their wool instantly?
Now, this would be very OP if the post ended here.
If we manually feed them tall grass, yes, they will grow back their wool much quicker,
but they will lose their current wool color and turn back to it's original color. This way, we can't farm colored wool without first farming dye.
Also, sheering off "insta wool" too quickly after it has been grown will "scar" them, making them unable to eat grass off the ground without you babysitting them with a piece of grass in your hand for the next Minecraft day cycle.
Simple 3 second cooldown after feeding instead of the "scar" idea.

Do you really need that much wool? Just spend some time breeding them and you'll never think about this post again. I'm overflowing with wool and I incorporate it in almost all of my builds.

Eh I don't see a reason to regrow white. I don't see a reason for them to regrow the color you dye them, to be honest. It seemed faster getting wool before the permanent animal changes, until the most recent sheep update. I don't see why you need more wool.

You've gone too far. I no longer take this serious. Scarring sheep? Come on...
You had my agreement until the part about scarring and wool color and whatnot.
In my opinion, just being able to feed sheep tall grass to regrow wool would have been enough.

It's not that it's stupid, exactly, it's that it's excessive; this would be a very minor addition and this thread puts hinderences on it like it's a staff that grants invincibility and allows TNT to rain from the sky.
