My idea started as an incentive to kill these Creeper repellents instead of taming them, and has evolved past that. So, when you kill Ocelots (perhaps killing them while holding Shears), they'll drop an item that looks like Leather reskinned to have an Ocelot pattern on it. My original idea was to have it attachable to any block essentially just to make the block look prettier. Imagine, turned the walls of your log cabin into an Ocelot-skin pattern. But what if they had a practical use as well? My thought is that adding Ocelot skin to a block upgrades it, to increase both fire-resistance and explosion resistance. I also thought, perhaps Ocelot pelts could be added to armor to increase its durability and its attractiveness, as well. What do you think?
The entire original point of this idea was for more intricate decoration than wool could offer. But personally, Creeper-proofing your house like that is overpowered in my opinion. The Ocelots that move around are a more reasonable Creeper repellent.

Also, perhaps using a Shear could take them off blocks as well for use elsewhere. Something I forgot to mention.

I did not consider this. In my opinion, that feature is plausible but questionable.
