i dont know if this is a good idea but adding that when your in snow biomes you get cold
to prevent from getting cold you can make clothes from sheep and wear it
and when you are cold for too long you begin to slowly die
also so sheep arnt difficult to find in snow biomes increase the spawn rate of them in snow biomes
But Steve is already wearing clothes.
So he wouldn't be cold anyway.
It's a bad idea for the most part, why do people need to die because they choose to live in a snow biome?

[quote=Badgerz]You have to keep in mind that people are stupid.
[quote=Catelite]Just because you don't understand how something works, doesn't make it broken or pointless. >_<
also add a warmth bar where if you have no clothes on you get colder faster and if you have a full set of clothes on you get colder a lot slower
and this way you will still start dieing from getting cold but to make your self warm again so you wont die you lite a fire and stand like 2-3 blocks away from a fire or you can stand near lava
this gives flint and steal more usesits just a suggestion to make the game more realistic
This would be better suited as a mod. I've thought heavily about the same thing, asking someone to make a body heat mod. However, this should not be put into the vanilla game.

i did say they can prevent themselves from dieng by standing near a fire or lava or wearing clothes made from wool
its just a suggestion to make the game more realistic
wut?
Don't know if you know this. But in real life, where the realistic stuff happens, all living things have a system of homeostatis occuring. Additionally, in real life, where the realistic stuff happens, creatures adapt to their surroundings.
In real life, where realistic stuff happens, People living in the Bahamas probably fear 65 degrees Fahrenheit (19 c) as a morbid zone of frozen waste. To people living in the continental US, that is a fair temperature where travelers from the Bahamas would bundle up to adjust to short-sleeve weather.
In South US, 60f (18c) is considered cold (for some odd reason) while in North US, people still wear short sleeves in 40f (5c) weather. They tend to adapt QUICKLY. Unless the frozen zone was such that the creatures could not homeostatically adapt, not even sheep would be found there.
It would be barren, dangerous, boring...
So no, your concept is not realistic as it doesn't account for temperature. Did you know that snow can still remain on the ground in temperatures well above the melting point of water? Funny that.

Either that, or when the player is surrounded entirely by blocks(A house).
