I have recently built a house that has some rather complex roofing. I was using the stair style of roofing, and when two corners met, it looked weird. I tried a slab at the same level as the stairs, but that stopped the continual downward slant of the roof. Then, I tried a full block below the stairs. It looked ok, except the block was large compared to the rest of the roof. So, I came up with the idea of a top half block. This could be used in roofing, like in my situation. They can also be used as shelves. Or, they could be used to hide redstone, where you would place the half block on top of the redstone, looking like a normal block from the top. And there are probably many more things that I can't think of. Please tell me your opinions, and if you have way to improve this, go ahead and say so in the comments!
Also, I must congratulate you on the quality of your post. So many of these are crap, and yours isn't. Though do try to use the Enter key a bit, k? :tongue.gif:
I've thought of that before but I don't think it would really...fit into Minecraft. I think it would take away the part of the game where there are certain limitations as to what you can do (i.e. you can't place offset blocks, they have to be aligned). Like how you can't craft chairs or tables but you can use other items in-game to make due. Things like that are what I think make Minecraft the game it is. Just my opinion but I have to admit I've wished they were in the game a few times. :tongue.gif:
Sorry, I do try to use the search bar. However, it doesn't work to well in my opinion. There are times I'll search Single Player Commands, for example, and the original topic won't even be on the first search page.

Haha, thank you. I understand about the other posts, I can't stand "English" without punctuation, spelling, or actual sentences. I'll make sure to divide up my posts more though.
