1. It rains like theres no tomorrow.
2. It rains for long periods of time.
3. The rain is SOOOO LAGGY <--------------------
If anything, just MAKE THE RAIN NOT SO GOD DAMN LAGGY.
Honestly...Snow wasn't laggy at all... but rain, has been laggy since god knows when.
It's really annoying when my computer can run crisis on max settings, but lags when it rains in minecraft.
thats funny, people always say, i can run crysis at max but minecraft gives me 15 FPS
well, theres no real way to fix the lagg of the rain, while the sound has to be addapted to where you are. in a wierd way, it laggs less when you are inside!
seriously... I play on an damn cheap computer and minecraft HASN'T LAGGED FOR ONE TIME ever on my computer.... GET THE **** OFF THE INTERNET IF YOU ARE USING AN POTATO INSTEAD OF AN COMPUTER. Also, DON'T fix what is NOT broken.
Lol. I'm not the only one to have seen this.
Everyone I know that plays minecraft lags when it rains. Always has.
Btw, I have a 8gb DDR3 1gb video/graphics card, i7 comp.
I can run Crisis on max settings... Lol, that's not a potato, it's a great comp, never lagged for anything, expect rain in minecraft.
It's always been like this, always.
/E: @ratel It's true. I lag less inside when it rains, in fact I don't lag at all. but when trying to move around in the rain...
and I get great FPS all times on minecraft, it just the rain lags me. It kills the experience when i'm trying to do something (dig/build a house/etc) and i'm lagging because it rains for longer then it's sunny out.

I can run Skyrim at max settings
Big deal if you can run crysis I think everyone can!
I have a much less powerful computer, and my rain doesn't lag. You need to check your settings.
