On 1.9 prerelease 3, we had a confusing brewing system that doesn't made sense, and you just had to remember the ingredient combinations to make potions (You didn't have to think, just throw random ingredients in). It was fun, though.
On 1.9 prerelease 4, we started to have a boring brewing system. It was fun to make potions with lots of different effects such as (Blinding + Jump boost II + Fire resistance), but now they are boring. Only one effect per potion. But it's very rational and it's not confusing.
We need a better brewing system. It must not be confusing, but not boring.
We must gather the best brewing ideas in this thread and make the optimal brewing system.
Let's make it like redstone: Fun, but also rational and requires thought.

I think that the cauldron system should be reinstated, but with less possible effects. IT needs to be a bit less random and be more directed.
I'm not talking about a new effect... I'm talking about a different system to brew potions that is fun, and mainly have lots of effects.
i.e. Harsh Potion
Nausea
Strenght III
Fire resistance
Jump Boost I
