It would be cool if the NPCs could also spawn in fortresses and attack you when you got near. When I first heard of strongholds, I thought they were above-ground. I was disappointed when I found out that they were underground, usually intercepted by some mining shaft.
Their castles could be like strongholds but smaller on the inside and be perfectly square with one gate on the outside.
Also, the NPCs should not have the Squidward skin. They should look like regular players! The ones in these castles should have a little armor, maybe a leather chestplate (or gold for the king and iron for the commander). They should carry around stone or iron swords and sometimes have bows and arrows. If you kill one, you should get his items. Of course, killing one would be very tough.

There is a massive difference between Steve and a Testificate, okay? Steve is some guy from the modern world from a company called Steve Co., while a testificate is a villager and a native of the world of minecraft. If players look the same as NPCs, what the hell is the point?

Steve and villagers are both humans living in the Minecraft world. Steve is native, too, since he spawns there whenever he is born.

I find no problem with the "squidward" people. It differentiates the NPCs from yourself. If anything, make those NPCs have armor and things like you suggested. Also, I don't like the idea of a king or commander. They don't fit in at all in Minecraft, having somebody that is supposed to be superior that has a humanoid form to you is not something that hits off well with me.

Where you getting this information from? Steve Co. was a JOKE for APRILS FOOLS DAY. It's not part of the story or anything of that sort.
