I have a few suggestions for additions of sounds that may or may not be a nice addition to the game.
#1-Blocking. I believe that a sound should be played when a player is hit by something. When blocking a sword or an arrow, a little metal deflecting sound could play. *kachink!* Maybe when hit by something organic like a mob without a weapon, it would give a quiet and subtle *whumpf* type noise. Maybe even a great chance to return Steve's damage grunt.
#B-Lava. I know they just gave it a new popping noise, but I would also enjoy if they gave it a slow rumbling noise like real lava. For the slow moving flowing lava animation, this might sound fitting, making it a cool addition.
#5, no, #3-This is where I start whining about the damage noises, the rain, the Creepers, the NPC's and all that jazz. Soften the rain, change the bone cracks, louden the creeper explosion and raise the pitch a little, and give NPC's some sort of voice. What I would like that not everybody else would like is for the NPC's to have stock lines, all done by one person in a purposefully derpy voice. Like "How are you?", "I'm bored", "Hello!" or "I used to be an adventurer like you, until I took an arrow to the knee" It would make being around them a little less awkward. Please don't hate me for whining about the same things everybody else does in this part of the suggestion, it fit the theme of the post.

1: Great idea, and I also wish they would bring back the old "hit" sound. I like the grunt better than the bones cracking.
2: I know when I'm around flowing water, the noise gets old fast, so the lava sound may or may not fall into the same category.
5: (no, my lord! 3!) This reminds me of an old game called "MechCommander." The only problem I had with the game came from one of its coolest features: whenever one of your units (it was a RTS game) detected an enemy unit, a holo would show up and say "[pilot name here] here, new contact!" or "This is [pilot name here], I've got a new contact!" or something similar. While this was a neat feature, it got very annoying quickly. I feel that the Squidwards talking every time you get near them would have a similar effect.
Thanks. For NPC talking, I was thinking that it be sort of like the Enderman, they only talk when you look directly at them, and only when you're close enough. That way, they would only talk when it looks like you want to talk to them.

I don't see a monty python reference. I do see a skyrim reference though
If you want to star in one of my videos pm me.
Anyway, on your suggestions:

Hope this commentary is appreciated!
