Okay, I collected three diamonds and made a pick and got some obsidian. I have so much iron, I'll probably never need my diamond pick again. Now, time to go to the nether. I go to the nether and find a fortress. I've killed tons of blaze and got the rods. So I'll never go to the nether again? What else could I possibly need there? Next I reach the end. Killing that dragon was pretty easy. I've got the troll credits and stuff. So It seems like all I need to do now is survive in the overworld. Well, I don't like this dimension system.
Let's start with some nether add ons. First, ores. They would have interesting properties. First, the special properties would only apply in the nether. Outside the nether, they would be pretty much a retextured wood sword (not really, but it would seem like that). The first ore would be Magmolt (mix between the words magama and molten, I think its
clever :tongue.gif:) which is as rare as lapis lazuli but available on higher layers. Rather than being cooked, it has to be cooled. To do this, you put water, snowballs, snow blocks, or ice in a furnace. When you get two magmolt ingots, you can make a magmolt sword by using a blaze rod for a handle. It has the durability of an iron sword, the striking power of a wood one, but lights those it hits on fire. You can also craft magmolt armor, a whole suit of which protects you from fire damage, but not in lava.
Next, nethery trees. They grow only on netherack and are probably rarer than overworld trees. They cannot be lit on fire, neither can the planks. Bonemeal doesn't work on the saplings, but they make slightly darker fire resistant planks. There should also be nether npc villages run by zombie pigmen made of netherbrick and with a lava well in it. There could also be hellhounds. They're like red wolves but a bit bigger than wolves (like spiders to cave spiders). They cannot take fire damage and can swim in lava but have a bit less health than dogs. They can be healed with ghast tears and tamed through blaze rods. They can't travel through the portal though. Thanks for reading. Don't bug me for pictures, I have no way of getting pictures. You're not five. Positive feedback for end ideas! :smile.gif:
Trees and ores are the least creative nether additions ever, and don't fit in. Cooling magma in a furnace? Try crafting it with a few snow blocks, it makes more sense.

What did i say :dry.gif: . If you can't be mature and read "wall of text" go away, you're either a troll or little kid.
I thought the hulk response was very amusing. A Troll would of said how none of your ideas made any sense ect ect.
He only pointed out the same thing a previous poster did, Its really really hard to read a wall of text without any
paragraphs to separate stuff.
Apart from that, they could use some updates to Nether, unique blocks ect, but not ones that lose their unique quality
when taken out of the Nether, that would kill exporting stuff from the Nether. What does it have now? Endless lava for Obsidian factories, netherrack for infinite fire pits, glowstone for lightsources (which are all very good ones btw) oh and soul sand that can be used in defensive structures and traps. A few more couldn't hurt.

As the poster of an idea, it is your responsibility to make your post clear and legible for your readers. Plus, people are more likely to actually consider the idea if you took all of ten seconds to format your OP.
And more on-topic: The Nether and End certainly need some new stuff, but things like trees in a literal hellhole do not make sense. And Nether ores are questionable, because the overworld is supposed to be the dimension where you spend all of your time mining and doing stuff like that. The Nether seems more suited for rare things like brewing ingredients and tough mobs, and maybe really rare weapons/other equipment. The Hellhound thing is OK but they should not be tamable, as that isn't very hellish. And they should probably be made of fire, hence their name.

okay, I've formatted my paragraphs again. I can't post pics, I don't know how, and I don't even know what I would post and how I would get the pics in the first place.

Retired StaffOh, sorry about that. I'll fix it. Thanks for the feedback too by the way.
