Well, I've played Minecraft for a while now, and the Interface is rather... boring and not very visual.
Tooltips. Rather than having tooltips for advanced items (like Eye of Ender, Redstone Repeaters etc. readily available, a new item should be able to be crafted to view information on a rare item. My idea is that all tooltips for advanced endgame items are in Galactic Alphabet (the one on enchantment tables) and if you craft in this pattern:
:Flint and Steel:
you will get a magnifying glass, which, when equipped, will allow all tooltips to be in English. Maybe it gives a small description on basic items (like iron ingots) on what they do/used for.
Crafting. As of this post, crafting is a gray panel, with some slots to put items in and a slot to show the end result. Oh my god, has that thing got me daydreaming while crafting bulk.
Instead of a 2d interface, we instead have the camera view zoom down to the crafting table, showing the items you place on it in the 3d world according to it's slot. Your inventory is assembled without slots, but in rows and columns of transparent sprites. There will be a notifier on screen saying whether or not you can craft something, and with the sprite and the name of what that recipe will make. There will be Three buttons. [Craft] [Exit] and [2d] (The 2d button allows you to go back to the original 2d panel, and this will be on all interfaces). The Craft button will put you in a new menu, with an [Amount], [Craft!], and [Back] button. The amount specifies how many of a particular item you want to craft, and it will only go up to the amount possible. If you have more than it needs for one stack the max setting will be 64. You can now drag and drop the items onto their respective slots. Once you hit the [Craft!] button, the items on the table will burst into smoke and the model or sprite of the end product will appear on the table, waiting for you to drag it into your inventory or hotbar.
Enchanting. Currently One slot, and three choices on a 2d platform.
Rather, have the book float to the camera, and your inventory pops up. When you drag something onto the top of the enchantment table, the book opens, revealing the enchantment selections. Once you select an enchantment, Enderman particles fly into the item, and then explode outward similar to the Eye of Ender breaking. The new item appears on the table with the purple aura, which you can drag to the inventory or hotbar. An exit button will be provided overlaying the screen when using the Table, as well as a 2d button.
Brewing. Currently A reagent slot, three potion slots.
Instead of a 2d interface, have the camera zoom over the top of the stand looking down Everything will appear in 3d space as mentioned before, and items are dragged in. There will be 4 buttons on the menu: [Brew], [2d], [Exit] and [Extract]. Extract will bring you to a new menu, and will allow you to reverse the brewing process to get a reagent, and you will be able to select which reagent to extract, and the potions will be adjusted accordingly. If you take out the Glowstone, the potions are no longer thick. 3 potions, each with the item that you wish to extract, must be present in order to extract.
Smelting and Cooking. As of now, there is a fuel slot, a material slot, and a product slot.
Instead, have the camera zoom to the face of the furnace, and 3 labeled areas to drag and drop items will appear. The bottom will be for fuel, the middle will be materials, and the top will be product. There will be a menu with three buttons: [Exit], [2d], and [Heat]. The heat button will bring you to a new menu with the buttons: [Heat!] [Fuel] and [Back] The fuel button will offer selections for how many items you want to smelt, and the maximum amount of coal you want to use.
Thank You for reading this all the way through.
Please respond, I will read every post. :smile.gif:
These are pointless, and do not add to game (except for lag) also the maginfying glass would be annoying also its pretty easy to understand what each item is, so no

Creepers. That is all.
The laws of magic are absolute. The laws of physics are optional.
