I just thought, if we fed our tamed wolf a bone, we could right-click at a herd of Sheep, then right-click on the location the wolf should guide them! Then, they would go behind the herd of the Sheeps, then he would bark and chase them to the desired location.
This would work not only with Sheeps, but with Pigs and Cows.
Now, they won't be able to chase Chickens. That would be a job for the cats, since they like killing chickens.
If you fed your cat a milk bucket, then right-clicked a group of Chickens, then right-clicked where you wanted for the chickens to be, the cat would chase the chickens, and force them to go to the desired location.
That would work without having to bait the animals with wheat. Animal Farming would be so easier.
The plural of sheep is 'sheep' not 'sheeps'... :dry.gif:
I personally don't like the idea. You can do that with wheat anyway.
Guiding mobs with wheat is a nightmare. Say, there is a herd of Sheep inside a group of Pigs. If you want to guide only the Sheep and use wheat, both Sheep and PIGS will chase you.

Have you ever been to a farm?
