After watching that video, I wanted to include a suggestion about Seasons.
Yes, I KNOW there is a mod for that, but
1: Wil not make worlds with the mod compatible with jars that don't contains the mod
2: There are biomes, so seasons must be implemented.
Alright, through each biome, the seasons will variate. This means that, there won't be winter that will cover the desert in snow, and there won't be summer that will melt down all the snow of Tundra and make it look like Plains. It will be affected diferently.
Spring
Main effects: Sky is blue, grass colors are camo. Snow from Winter will slowly melt. You'll start in this season.
Deserts: Dead bushes randomly sprout through the desert. Rain becomes possible in this biome.
Oak Forest: Tall Grass and flowers sprout through all available lands, planted saplings before this season instantly grow large trees. Saplings placed on this season grow on the day after. Wheat and other crops grows faster. All monsters but the Spider spawn less commonly.
Mountain: More trees randomly grow, flowers and tall grass sprout through the feet of the mountains. Pine trees are possible in the top of mountains.
Ocean: Nothing changed.
Mushroom: Normal Mushrooms, if there is space available, grow into Humongous(bigger than huge) Mushrooms, big enough to make a house. Normal Cows instantly becomes Mooshrooms.
Plains: The occasional tree is more commonly to exist. Flowers grow in this biome, tall grass becomes even more common.
Swampland: The dark color of grass and leaves, along with the green color of water instantly becomes like the old color of grass and leaves of Indev and Early Alpha, and water becomes normal water.
Taiga: Snow melts, tall grass grows.
Tundra: Part of the snow melts, revealing a dirt space on which grass will never grow. Pine trees become possible.
Jungle: Water lakes rises upon rain(only when a chunk of the biome is loaded)
Summer
Main effects: Sky is the same color of Diamonds, Thunderstorms replace all rain.
Desert: Crops and the such grow much slower than in other biomes(1 plant stage per day). Also, if you stand in the desert for too long without a shade or water, you'll take 2 hearts of damage.
Forest: Trees give more wood than the desired(1 wood log gives 2 wood pieces)
Mountain: Nothing changes.
Ocean: Fish are caught easier.
Mushroom: Huge Mushrooms give more mushroom(even more commonly) when broken.
Plains: Occasional Trees grow commonly, making trees scarce in this biome.
Swampland: Color reverts to dark.
Taiga: All snow melts, and the forest becomes a tad green.
Tundra: All snow melts, turning the Tundra into a dirt wasteland with scarce trees.
Autmun
Main Effects: Sky reverts to blue, grass and leaf colors are orange, leaves may decay.
Desert: Heat waves disappear(you won't take random damage in deserts)
Forest: Leaves slowly decay. Collecting wheat will give you double of wheat, and quadruple of seeds.
Mountain: Pine Trees in the biome slowly decay(even wood)
Ocean: Leaf pieces may be found floating in the water(disappear in Spring)
Mushroom: Red Mushrooms become a bit brown.
Plains: Execcive flowers and tall grass decay. Even the occasional tree will disappear.
Swampland: Nothing changes.
Taiga: Wood gives double wood blocks when broken.
Tundra: Ice begins to regenerate.
Winter
Main effects: Sky is a tad purple. All rain is replaced with snow.
Desert: There is a 2/6 of chance that snowfall will happen.
Forest: All execcive tall grass and flowers get destroyed in the first snowfall.
Mountain: Snowfall only affects the top of the mountains(this means that only the topmost of the mountain biome will snow, in the middle of a mountain, it simply rains.
Ocean: Icebergs become possible.
Mushroom: Snow temporaly(once it stops snowing, it will decay) covers the biome, and Mooshrooms will retreat under the safety of Huge Mushrooms.
Plains: Tall Grass completely decays, snow covers all the ground.
Swampland: Is not affected at all.
Taiga: Snow begins to regenerate.
Tundra: Dirt turns into grass, and then gets covered in snow.

Winter- Leaves disappear then come back in spring
Spring- Pink
Summer: Light Green would fit in better than Dark Green.
Autumn: I said it would go Orange/Brown.
Winter: Also said that. But if someone had a leaf block and placed it in the floor, it would be depending on which season they got the leaf block(Eg: If they got it in Fall, it would be brown. If on summer, Light green(
Spring: I want it to be camo, pink wouldn't fit in good.
Spring: No effect
Summer: Spawn less, but they retreat to shade or water.
Autumn: No effect
Winter: Walk Slower and have less health (except for wolves and sheep)
Hostile
Spring: Spawn less
Summer: No effect
Autumn: No effect (but creepers explode less, because they are plant based creatures, as Notch said, Green and Leafy, just like plants :biggrin.gif: )
Winter: Spawn more and they are a bit stronger (apart from zombies).
