I was playing on a hardcore faction server a little bit ago and i was planning on attacking a faction that stole from me. I knew their coords and i wanted my members to do a list of things.
- Get as much sulfur as you can
- get redstone for tnt cannons
- gather dirt for a tower holding the cannon
- gather food in case we have to fight
- attack at these coords next time we meet. (-----)
I had SO MUCH MORE i wanted to say to them but all i could do was set up signs that only allowed like 15 words. I was wanting to write a whole briefing and put it in a chest for the members. But i couldn't do it!
It's doesn't have to be only for multiplayer either. it can be used in singleplayer to keep track of caves, coords for mountains or bases, coords for where you buried that chest full of diamonds, and simple notes for crafting recipes. (potions. I can never remember those) And if you want, a narrative for a lets-play video or something.
It just doesn't make sense to have books in the game only to create book shelves. (which also don't have a use!):biggrin.gif:
Planned. But I still see no use, mostly it will be used for people going "LOLOLOLOLOL AND THEN THE GIANT CREEPER BLEW UP TEH END"
Obviously, a hyperbole. But if people are allowed to write in things, it ends up being very bad grammar, very badly written plots, spamming by writing in other's books or some combination of the aforementioned. That's just my opinion based on what happened when I looked up "story" in the Roblox free models.
