Basically, a jukebox would work like this: The jukebox has a larger radius of sound than a record player. Once placed, you can store one of each record in the Jukebox. You can have the jukebox auto-play records once you put them in. Individual records may be turned off so that if you don't like a record, you don't have to listen to it. In multiplayer, the person who places the jukebox could allow other players to pay for records being played, allow them to use it for free, or not allow other players to use it at all.
I think gold nuggets/ingots/blocks have been hailed the unofficial minecraft "currency" by a lot of players, so I think if you charge for uses that would be the cost.

1) There isn't really a currency system established in Minecraft, so making players pay will be a bit difficult. I wouldn't bother with that
