Upon spawning with this mode selected, a chest filled with several items of value will appear next to you. (EX: Diamond tools, food, torches, a lot of wood, a golden apple, ect) You will have one minecraft day to get a base established and get items of necessity with absolutely no hostile mob spawns. Once your day is up, the world will be locked a night as long as 5 night-day cycles, and will function as hardcore mode does (no respawns and locked on hard) , if an enderman can go for either a natural or player block, they will pick up the player bllock, and mobs will begin spawning at triple rate (at the end of a cycle the day will be mobless. Upon death, the score will be the number of cycles you survive. The reason I suggest this is to see how long a player can survive with limited time.

Endermen will pick up player-made blocks over natural? adding to initial post
I don't quite know what you mean. Are you talking about a screen in the beginning where you choose items? maybe a cap of 100 items altogether?
Thank you! I think there might be some trouble, but I don't know jack about coding, java or otherwise.
